The Dealer Convention is returning to Nashville, TN and the spectacular Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center.

The dates for the Dealer Convention are Monday, September 30 - Tuesday, October 1, 2019.

DEALER REGISTRATION FEES:
(Fees apply to all attendees age 5 and over.)

  • Register June 1 - June 30, 2019: $50 per person
  • Register July 1 - July 31, 2019: $75 per person
  • Register August 1 - September 5: $100 per person   (Based on availability.)
Registration costs will be billed to your Cub Cadet open account in November 2019.

CANCELLATION TERMS:
If you cancel your registration for the convention (or No-show), the following cancellation fees will be billed to your open account in November 2019.

  • Cancel by August 26, 2019: No charge
  • Cancel August 27 - September 13, 2019: $75 per person
  • Cancel after September 13, or No-show: $200 per person

TUESDAY NIGHT ENTERTAINMENT: 
Be sure to join us on Tuesday night after dinner for Nashville native Phil Vassar.   Phil is an American country music artist who is celebrating 20 years of chart-topping hits.  His reign of signature songs include 10 No. 1 singles and 26 Top 40 hits, including Carlene, Just Another Day in Paradise, Six-Pack Summer, When I Love You, and many more. Vassar has penned hits for Collin Raye (Little Red Rodeo), Alan Jackson (Right on the Money), Tim McGraw (For a Little While), Jo Dee Messina (Bye Bye, Alright), and Blackhawk (Postmarked Birmingham).  Phil has released six albums and has been named both the ASCAP Songwriter of the Year and ACM’s Top New Male Vocalist.  He continues to churn out incisive, soulful lyrics and infectious melodies that capture the heart and soul and his current “Hitsteria Tour” is playing to sold-out shows across the country.   If you have Spotify, search on “This is Phil Vassar” for a list of 50 of his songs.   

GAYLORD OPRYLAND

GROUP RATE AT OPRYLAND:
Cub Cadet has negotiated the following group rates at the Gaylord Opryland for the Dealer Convention:

  • Standard room - $185 per night plus tax (includes $20 resort fee)
  • Atrium room - $205 per night plus tax (includes $20 resort fee)
The rates are for up to 2 adults. Children under 18 staying in the same room, using existing bedding are free of charge. Extra adult guests are $10 per person. Maximum occupancy is 4 adults per room. The group rate is available from Friday, Sep. 27 through Saturday, Oct. 5. The deadline to reserve is 5pm EST on Wednesday, Sep. 4, 2019. Keep in mind, rooms are based on availability and may sell out prior to this date. 

HOTEL RESERVATIONS: 
To make reservations for your hotel room at the Gaylord Opryland, go to the REGISTER page and click on the link; or call 615-889-1000 and tell them you are part of the Cub Cadet Convention. The hotel will charge your credit card a one-night deposit within 72 hours of booking. Your remaining balance will be paid at check-out. Be sure to make your reservations under the name of someone who will be physically staying in the room at the convention. 

EXTENDED STAY: 
If you are interested in an extended stay and the hotel website doesn’t show availability, please contact Navis.  

RESORT FEE:
The normal resort fee of $20 is included in the Cub Cadet room rate. The resort fee includes, in room high-speed wireless internet, fitness center access, pool access in the Relache Spa, bottled water (2) refreshed daily, shuttle to/from Opry Mills Mall & Grand Ole Opry, daily credit up to $10 for dry cleaning, Wildhorse Saloon cover charge for up to 4 guests, and unlimited local and long distance calls.

INTERNET:  
Internet access is included in the resort fee for Cub Cadet guests in their guestrooms. 

HOTEL PARKING:  
Cub Cadet has a reduced self-parking fee of $20 per night that will apply to all Cub Cadet guests staying at the hotel. The normal self-parking rate at the Opryland Resort is $32 per night; valet parking is $40. 
      
CANCELLATION POLICY:  
Hotel reservations cancelled within 72 hours of your arrival date are subject to a penalty of one night room and tax.  

BEDDING IN ROOMS:  
The Gaylord Opryland Nashville is a family hotel; most rooms have two queen beds.

ROLLAWAY BEDS:  
Availability of rollaway beds is limited. If you need a rollaway please make a note of it in the special request section when you make your hotel reservation. The cost for a rollaway bed is $30 per night.

CONNECTING ROOMS:  
If you need more than one room and would like connecting rooms, put a note in the special request section when you make your hotel reservation. If there aren’t any connecting rooms or your bed type doesn’t fit the configuration for connecting rooms, the hotel will try to locate your rooms near each other. Room location and connecting rooms cannot be guaranteed.

SMOKING POLICY:  
The Gaylord Opryland is a smoke-free facility.  All sleeping rooms are non-smoking.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT:  
Hotel check-in is 4:00pm. Hotel check-out is 11:00am.  

CHANGE IN DEPARTURE DATE:
As a courtesy to the hotel, please notify the hotel staff at check-in if your plans have changed and your check-out date is different than what you originally reserved.

ROOM AMENITIES:  
In-room safe, mini-refrigerator, coffee maker, hairdryer, and an iron & ironing board.

SCOOTERS/MOBILITY ISSUES:  
If you have trouble walking long distances, please put a note in your hotel reservation and request a room near to the Ryman Exhibit Hall and the Delta Ballrooms.

Bradley Medical is on-site at Opryland; they have a limited number of scooters available for rent; (615) 458-2615. It is best to reserve at least two weeks in advance. Wheelchairs are $20/day to rent and scooters are $50/day. Their desk is located in the Cascades lobby, near the bell desk. A credit card is required at the time of booking to hold your equipment.

The following two companies also rent scooters and wheelchairs in Nashville; and will deliver to Opryland. Please contact them at least two weeks in advance to coordinate your arrangements. Scooters are based on availability.

SOUNDWAVES:
Opryland recently opened a new 4-acre waterpark called Soundwaves. This waterpark is an extra cost. MARTIN PLANT TOURS

Last time the Dealer Convention was in Nashville, MTD offered the dealers the opportunity to tour the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Martin, TN along with the Distribution Center and Professional Products Building. It was such a great success that they've decided to open the doors again this year!

Tours will be held on Wednesday, October 2. There are two options for transportation to/from Martin.
   Option 1 - Drive yourself to Martin
   Option 2 - Ride the Bus - The bus to the Martin Plant is currently full. If you would like to have your name put on the 
                    waitlist, select that option when you register.  Please note, there will be one bus that will make a stop at the
                    Nashville airport, and then return to Opryland Hotel.

Travel Notes:   If you are flying out on Wednesday, October 2, your flight must depart Nashville after 6pm. If you are returning to the hotel after the Martin Plant tour, make sure your hotel check out date is Thursday, October 3.

Bus transportation is $35pp round-trip. There is a restroom on the bus. Reservations are required. Space is limited.

The Martin Plant is approximately 2 1/2 hours from Nashville. The address for PPD where you will park is 1104 Main Street, Martin, TN 38237.

PLANT TOUR SCHEDULE FOR THOSE DRIVING THEIR OWN CAR:
If you would like to drive to the Martin Plant on your way home there will be designated start times for tours at the plant. The plant can accommodate groups of 25 at a time. Your exact start time will be communicated with you sometime in August. The tour of the three facilities takes around 2.5 hours. Lunch will be provided by the Martin Cook team.

TRAVEL (The Airport Code for Nashville is BNA):
Discounts have been negotiated with Delta and United Airlines. To get these discounts follow the booking instructions below for each airline. Southwest does not offer meeting discounts.

SOUTHWEST AIRLINES:
Nashville is a Southwest hub, so there are many non-stop flights in and out of Nashville.  Go to Southwest.com for the most up to date schedules.  Southwest does not offer meeting discounts, but their schedules & prices might be better than other airlines.

DELTA AIRLINES: 
Click the following link: Delta.com. A Cub Cadet Meeting discount of 2% - 5% for coach fares and 10% for first class fares has been arranged. Discount is valid for flights September 26, 2019 - October 5, 2019. TRANSFERS BETWEEN THE NASHVILLE AIRPORT AND GAYLORD OPRYLAND:
You are responsible to arrange your transportation between the airport and the hotel. Taxis are readily available both at the airport and the hotel; the hotel also has a shuttle service that is available for a cost. Click here to book your transfers with the hotel shuttle service.

GAYLORD OPRYLAND AIRPORT SHUTTLE:
Gaylord Opryland offers daily round-trip shuttle service from the Nashville airport. Look for their desk on the lower level (the level below baggage claim) of the airport between to the two escalators. Daily shuttle runs from 5am to 11pm. Cost is $30 pp round-trip, or $19 one way.  Discounted fare of $28 pp round-trip is available for children under 12 and guests over 65. TAXI:
There is a queue of taxis available outside of baggage claim. The average taxi cost is  $30 one way, plus tip. The taxi ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.

GAYLORD OPRYLAND HOTEL SHUTTLE TO DOWNTOWN:
The Gaylord Opryland operates a daily shuttle to downtown Nashville. The shuttle makes two stops downtown, Ryman Auditorium and the Wildhorse Saloon; the cost is $20 per person roundtrip. The shuttle departs from the Magnolia Canopy. See the hotel concierge in the Cascades lobby to reserve your shuttle tickets and for the exact departure times and pick up locations. 

ATTRACTIONS:
If you would like to spend an extra day or two in Nashville, there are many local things and day trips that you can do outside of Opryland.

A great way to see an overview of Downtown Nashville -  Grayline Trolley Tour 

Another fun and innovative way to see Nashville is on a Segway! - Nashville Segway Tours - This company offers both a 1.5 hour and a 2.5 hour tour of downtown on a Segway.

Enjoy and evening of entertainment on the General Jackson Showboat, featuring their show, Music City Nights on Saturday, September 28. Boarding begins at 6:15pm, departing at 7:00pm. Return at 10:00pm. Parking is shared with Opry Mills mall.

Visit the Country Music Hall of Fame in downtown Nashville. Come and see some of the special exhibits featuring some of country music’s most treasured photographs and artifacts. The museum is open daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Dealers will need their entity number to register.  The Martin Plant tours are open to Dealer attendees.  If you are planning to attend the optional Martin Plant tours on Wednesday, October, 2, be sure to click on the Martin Plant tour tab and read the information regarding the tours BEFORE you register.  

All persons attending any part of the Convention, or meals, must register via one of the buttons below. If you wait to register until you arrive, the registration fee is $125 per person.
